My 16 month old has had a high fever for four days, very miserable, extra sleep, and just not herself at all. but it is going down slowly. We seen a doctor and they recommended Advil and prescribed a prescription that we could start after four days if it isn’t getting better. She is getting better but not by much and now she won’t take Advil either. I’ve tried everything.

My question is, is that she just got a cold sore this morning and has never had one before? Could this be causing everything, should I be worried?
