Is it time to go to the hospital yet?

I went to the hospital this morning because I thought my water broke but it hasn't and I wasn't having contractions so they sent me home. I was 4cm and 60%. My husband and I had sex and since 145 I've been having contractions less than a minute long but between 3-5 minutes apart. Had some stringy bloody discharge. Now that I'm walking around at target they are a minute or longer in duration. And around 5 minutes apart? Not unbearable but very uncomfortable and wraps around my back.

I stayed home until I couldn’t bear the pain anymore and my contractions were 3 mins apart. I didn’t want to labour at the hospital. 
Depending how far you are from the hospital you could probably wait longer.

Depends on how far the hospital is. We have to drive an hour so I'd go if I were you, but if it's just a few minutes away you might as well stay home and go when you're sure. You can always call the triage nurse.

This was me a week before my due date. I was able to walk around still and contractions got as close at 2 min apart but I didn’t progress and was sent home from triage. Contractions continued but spaced out and finally stopped that evening... so it was false labor, which was a bummer. 
A week later (on 8/10), we had sex again and within an hour I had contractions 2 min apart. An hour later, they were so strong I was crawling out of the house to the car to drive to the hospital. Baby girl was born less than 2 hours later.
