Not sure when it happened but some low life POS stole my husbands debit card info and got his pin spent $184!!! AND they're getting away with it because they used the pin. That was our gas money and whatever left over was going into savings for our baby due in February. We are slowly digging ourselves out of the paycheck to paycheck life. We would honestly have $349 till the 22nd but we helped out a family member who will be paying us back tomorrow about 100. We were doing so good but some POS has to ruin it because they dont want to get a fucking job. I just want to cry I'm so frustrated. 😣 I want to talk to him about it but he's to angry and pissed off to talk about it . Fucking hate people

Edit: The way you can use the pin without the card is people use skimmers on atms, card readers, gas pumps, etc... The skimmer reads the magnetic strip and usually they can get all of the info they need, pin included. If they dont get the pin from just the skimmer there is also usually a secondary camera or something like a keylogger or keystroke recorder. They use this by forcing the machines open. Thus getting your PIN. It happens all of the time to many people. Police have not been involved but I suggested this to my husband. The bank cannot do anything unless the person is caught because they used his pin at a local target twice and for google play. Oh another thing fake debit/credit cards are made by stealing info and "copying" magnetic strips. So yeah it's possible without his debit card. Plus the days leading up to and the days after I had his ONLY debit card while he was at work. So no, no one had his card. Thank you to the person who suggested reaching out to the police we were both so mad and frustrated neither of us thought of it.
