She’s five days old now and her skin around her mouth is starting to peel. I’m just wondering if it’s normal I worry about everything lol. (It’s not dried milk)

My first born’s skin peeled about a week after he was born. It’s normal. Just leave it alone and it’ll sluff off harmlessly on its own. Gentle moisturizer can help.

I would put some aquaphor or vaseline on it after bath time. I think it's normal. They spend 9 months in fluid and then come into the world exposed to a completely different environment. Most babies have some kind of skin reaction the first few weeks. Of course check with the pediatrician next visit if you cant get it to clear up
