Panic attacks
So I’ve been dealing with anxiety for around 7-8 years now but have only just been diagnosed with it (in June). My therapist has shown me many ways of how to prevent my anxiety manifesting into a panic attack (which normally end up with me throwing up). However, most of these have not worked at all and my anxiety has got so much worse to a point where I cannot leave my house without having a panic attack. I cannot see my therapist atm either as it is the holidays. And so when I see here next I want to ask her about the possibility of me starting medication for my anxiety instead as a last resort. Anxiety has literally taken over my life especially in the past 8 months and I really want to overcome it. Do you think it’s a good idea to go on medication?
(I’m only 15 too).
