This is my first pregnancy ever! I went in to see my doctor last week on Thursday because of some light spotting. LMP put me at 7 weeks. She did an US and placed me at 5 weeks and could only see a gestational sac and found a cyst on my ovary. She scheduled me another US for this Friday, and had me start doing HCG work. These were my levels.

8/9- 3563

8/11- 4516

8/13- 5987

I just a call from my doctor that she isn’t comfortable with the way my levels are rising and believes we may have an ectopic pregnancy. She asked if I’ve been cramping or bleeding at all- I explained that the spotting stopped last Thursday just before my appointment and I haven’t had any cramps. She said we will keep the appointment on Friday to see what is going on, but overall her prognosis sounds grim.

Anyone else have this happen to them? What was your outcome?
