My fiance and I used to get into disagreements about his xbox. Hes at work all week long for long shifts, comes home and goes right to sleep. His only free time is the weekends, mostly only being Sunday because he gets out of work Saturday morning at 6am and comes home and sleeps. Anyways, he would spend a lot of his downtime playing video games and I just wanted him to spend time with me and our son.

Everything in moderation is fine but he would just want to play video games with his friends for hours at a time. We haven't argued about it in a while and he had cut back on the amount of time he spent on his console so there was no need for any sort of discussion about it. Hes entitled to his down time by all means but has to remember he has a family too that needs attention after not seeing him all week. Even more so because we are currently expecting another little one in January.

Well this morning out of no where he texts me this. I almost started crying because I'm so happy that hes wanting to focus more on our child and us and he decided this on his own with no coercion 😌
