Cycle day 18 and close to ovulation?

So today's cycle day 18 of normally a 28 day or less cycle, and I'm just now starting to get darker lines on my ovulation tests. still not positive yet though. Does that mean I'm a late ovulator? Does that mean my period will be later? How does ovulating later work? Help me! Lol (yesterday's test is on the left, the right test is todays)

It might mean your period will be later this month (sometimes this just happens) , or it might mean you have a very short luteal phase. Since you just started tracking, you can’t tell which it is off just one cycle. 
I ovulated on Cd 21 with my current pregnancy, and I have an 11 day luteal phase, which is a bit shorter than the average.
