I am pregnant and I had my first ultrasound yesterday and saw a little heartbeat! A few days before that I noticed a small rash on my ribs and I thought nothing of it and then a few days later I made a doctors appointment to get it looked at and it turns out I have shingles 😭😭 the dr said the shingles won’t harm the baby but the medication they want to give me for it puts my baby at risk of abnormalities 😭 I flat out refuse to take any medication! Have any of you had shingles before while pregnant? How long does it normally last for without taking the medication?
