My MIL has a YouTube channel (not super popular or anything), and sort of asked if our LO could be on her channel. Her daughter allows her kids on it, my one SIL does not, and my BIL’s girlfriend is allowing her son to be on it.

I personally don’t feel comfortable with our LO being on, because any random person anywhere can watch. I’ve watched channels on YouTube with parents and their kids and idk I feel like I know so much about them and their family but they don’t know I exist, you know?

My husband doesn’t care one way or the other but said he understands where I’m coming from, and since I’m not comfortable that she won’t be on it.

The other day my MIL made a comment how her one granddaughter isn’t allowed on because my SIL “thinks someone will kidnap her or something” and chuckled. Maybe I’m crazy or overthinking it but... I don’t necessarily disagree with her.

My MIL was overprotective back in the day so I don’t understand why she’s always harping on my SIL and her parenting decisions. Am I crazy for not wanting my LO on her channel?
