So when my daughter was only a couple of months old her ENTIRE body looked like that one day when we were throwing papers. I absolutely freaked out, pulled her out of her car seat, cradled her close while looking her over and touching her skin. I was waiting for my boss in a neighborhood to bring me papers and I was like dancing around in the street practically crying, thinking my daughter was dying 🙄😅. My boss pulled up and saw me panicking. She got out of her car and frantically came over to me asking what was wrong. With teary eyes I explained and showed her my daughter. Lol my boss just smiled and had me lay her down in the rear of my explorer. She started gently massaging her skin and showing me how to do it and a few minutes later baby girl looked just fine. I had already contacted her pediatricians office, when they called me back and I told them eveything,  they told me that it was normal and to only freak out if it stays like that for an extended period or is actually bothering her  (my daughter wasn't bothered by it before lol). Thank God my boss showed up when she did, I was literally about to run my baby to the emergency room lol. My point is, they are babies and sometimes their little bodies react very quickly making things look more dangerous than they are. Good luck hunny!!

That honestly worries me about blood circulation or oxygen level, but it could be normal. I'd call the pediatrician just because the skin looks purple, I hope it's normal

It may be that she’s clinching her fist. I had to watch out for this with my son after coming home from the NICU. Sometimes it was a matter of getting him warmer, or as I mentioned above, massaging the area to stimulate blood flow. If it stays for longer than you’re comfortable, or gets darker take her to the ER. It’s always better to err on the side of caution, than to ignore. Hope that helps.
