Getting baby to fall asleep on their own
My daughter is 12 weeks old. I’m trying to start getting her to fall asleep on her own so that we can avoid the 4 month sleep regression. I’ve been watching wake windows & keeping her active to make sure she’s tired, & once I notice her acting sleepy & blinking slowly, I’ll try to set her down but every time I do she pops her eyes open & starts moving & babbling, just totally wide awake. I try it a few more times, getting her sleepy, then setting her down but eventually she just gets so overtired that she cries every time I put her down. I don’t know how I’m supposed to do this & it’s seriously stressing me out knowing that the sleep regression is coming soon if we don’t figure it out. Any advice is much appreciated
