“How can you complain? You’re still so small!”
I’m 32 weeks pregnant and starting to have the aches and pains of third trimester as well as my restless leg syndrome going into overdrive. I have an abdominal hernia that feels like a constant aching bruise. I’m STILL puking daily which aggravates everything. The worst is that I’ve developed spd so now, even laying down is very painful. I don’t complain about it much because there is no point but after a night of no sleep because of pelvic pain, I vented to a coworker when she asked how the pregnancy was going.
She thinks that because I’m carrying so small yet, it’s not possible for me to be having third trimester pain 🙄 and then another coworker walked up while we were talking and they discussed it and she said the same thing.
Just because my BUMP is small, doesn’t mean my BABY is 🙄 in fact, it would be nice if my muscles weren’t holding him so tightly inside and squashing all my organs. I still have the same size baby, same amount of amniotic fluid, same size placenta etc as other 32 week moms, he’s just still tucked up way inside!
Carrying small doesn’t mean you have less aches and pains than moms who carry bigger!!!
