Does anyone know often do you get an ultrasound?

We just had our first ultrasound yesterday at 9 weeks. It was amazing! I’m wondering when I get my next ultrasound? Or do I just schedule it?

I only got two. One at 9 weeks. One at 20 weeks.

Doctors usually only do 2-3 but there’s probably an elective ultrasound place near you but you’d have to pay out of pocket. They aren’t terrible expensive tho.

For a normal low risk pregnancy they do 2-3. Although, I’ve gotten more due to being cautious based off first pregnancy the ones anyone can get is dating scan, 12 weeks which is elective to look for abnormalities and 20 weeks.

I got one every month until 30 weeks. Not sure if I will keep getting them now that I switched to two week appointments

3 so far. 8weeks (dating scan) 
13weeks (genetic/Down syndrome testing), 20weeks (anatomy) 
I can go to a private clinic and pay for more if needed.

I got mine at 8 weeks and 20 weeks. My OB has a handheld one that she uses during my monthly appointments, but I don’t get the pictures printed out. I have another one at 25 weeks (tomorrow), but that’s only bc baby was too squirmy to get a good pic of something at the 20 week anatomy scan.

I’m considered high risk, so I’ve gotten 4 so far- 3 more are scheduled. I think usually you get two or three tho. (We were in Jamaica the week before we conceived- so while I have no signs or symptoms of Zika, and baby has been measuring perfectly right on track, they’re just being extra cautious)

Had one at eight weeks because of bleeding and then scheduled one at 13 weeks on Monday, I’m so anxious to see again.  Then the next one I know about is at 20. Think there would of just been the 12-13 weeks and 20 weeks if no bleeding issue.
