Animals..silly question

Did anyone's pets act differently right before labor? My dog has always been close to me but for the past few days, she refuses to leave my side, won't let anyone else get near her or me, and has separation anxiety if I go somewhere without her. I'm giving her lots of love and attention. I dont know what else to do. 36 weeks
