Hi mommies! How do you put your baby to sleep?

My baby is a difficult one, she needs all three on different days just depending on whichever works 🙃🙃🙃

I nursed my daughter to sleep until she was 2 and weaned herself.  They say not to do that but she definitely learned to fall asleep on her own regardless 🤷‍♀️ it was a quick easy way to get her down at night.

I nursed mine go sleep until she was about 2, we continued nursing but it wasn’t putting her to sleep like it did before. I know people don’t support that, but it works and now she’s a completely independent 4 year old. I just read her a few books and sing her a song, kiss her and say goodnight!

My son needed white noise, rocking to sleep, booty patting, singing, humming, milk and sometimes nothing at all and sometimes even the vacuum running! He has fought sleep forever and I am not close to comfortable with “crying it out” at all

My daughter is 2.5 years old. Some days she needs to snuggle to sleep and others she puts herself to bed. Whatever works.

My daughter is 10 weeks and we change her put some lavender scented lotion on her and swaddle her and she passes out. She seems to be the exception to the rule though. She is such a good sleeper.

My son is 5 months so that might make a difference but I pay attention to his tired cues... put him in his sleep sack (making sire the sound machine in his room is on) and rock him until his eyes do a slow close and open, then lay him down and let him cry. He doesn't usually go more than 3 minutes and he is out cold.

It depends on the age. Until about 6 months I rocked my son in the chair and in my arms until he was asleep and then put him in the bassinet - then tiptoed out of the room like a damn cat burglar. We started sleep training at 6 months. Now I rock him after he has his bottle and put him in awake and he falls asleep on his own 🥳

My son is 3 months and he will fall asleep on his own just fine. I like rocking him to sleep, but it's nice that I know he can do it himself

My son is 11 weeks. Our night time routine is a bath with warm water, lotion, a fresh diaper and jammies, a sleep sack, then we put him in the bassinet and give him a pacifier to sooth himself to sleep.
