I keep reading articles saying not to let baby sleep more than 4 hour stretches at night but my 4 day old baby won’t sleep more than 10 minutes...I literally DONT get ANY sleep and it’s becoming dangerous at this point of 7 days of little to no sleep. If I put him down, he screams until I soothe him (I don’t believe in CIO so I pick him up the second he starts to scream). Something feels wrong. This can’t be right? Where am I failing? I don’t have the energy to give all the details of our days/habits/etc. So I’m not really looking for advice-just want to know if I’m alone in this and right to think I’m doing something very wrong?

I’m so thankful to be seeing me pediatrician today but scared he won’t have any answers.
