So envious of pictures of ladies with 2 week olds latching great. We had a rough start in the nicu and had to use a nipple shield.

Now at 6 weeks I’m weaning the shield and breastfeeding is just so damn hard still.

Kept telling myself it will be better at 2 weeks, then 4 weeks now at 6 and still struggling- constantly missing wake times due to nursing then dealing with an overtired babe who won’t sleep !

Something has got to give but I’m not ready to give up.
