Experience with measuring ahead?

Hey y’all! I’m a FTM so this is all new to me! At my appointment today i was measuring 3 weeks ahead. The dr wasn’t concerned and said that now that I’m going every 2 weeks, if I measure bigger in 2 weeks they’ll do an ultrasound to look at baby’s length and weight! I know there’s different factors that can cause this! Just wondering who has experienced this! Did you end up having a big baby?

My son was 9lb 10 oz at 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I elected to have a c section because my obgyn told me that it would be the safest way to deliver cause his head and shoulders were measuring full term at 34 weeks pregnant and was already over 6 pounds. I measured 3 weeks ahead the whole 3rd trimester.

I’ve been measuring ahead but my midwives aren’t concerned about it! They just think the baby is just big and I have a lot of fluid. I had an ultrasound at my 40 week appointment and it confirmed all of that👌🏼

I’m in the same boat but measuring 4 weeks ahead 😩 I’m terrified of having a big baby but everyone seems to say not to rely on the measurements. I go back Monday for my next appointment and they’ll tell me then if I’m going to have to have an ultrasound
