1 or 2 pills?

So today i took an emergency contraceptive pill and it has been nearly 72 hours since I’ve had sex, should i take another just in case or will i be ok?

Just one. You really should have taken it sooner than 72 hours though. It can still be effective but the sooner you take it the better. But taking two at the same time is not going to make it work any better

Maybe consider having a copper coil inserted as it can be used as emergency contraception up to 5 days after unprotected sex and you can either have it removed after your next period, or you can leave it in as permanent contraception. I loved my copper coil because it has no hormones like the mirena coil.
