I wanted to go to the beach for my bday tomorrow (it’s actually next week). Been planning it for 2 weeks since my family wants to have dinner at my grandparents place on my actual bday (not what I wanted, but didn’t want to be rude). I feel bad my bf is constantly having to leave the house. He’s been going nonstop for 2 weeks without a break, driving an hour to his new job, and us looking for apartments in the same area on his days off. It’s bad enough we have to go back Tuesday to drop off all the paperwork on HIS NEXT DAY OFF. I don’t have a car or I’d insist on driving him everywhere, and im definitely not ready to start driving his (it’s in his parents name still).

All I want is for him to have a relaxing day without leaving his house, so I decided to cancel the beach trip tomorrow. He better not go out to look for a gift for me either 😡
