With my previous pregnancies, I ended up on bed rest pretty early on. This is my 4th baby and things are going really well right now, but tomorrow starts the 3rd trimester and I have been nervous about the possibility of something happening before I could get prepared.

Well this morning my husband and I went out and bought the last of the "have to have" items we need for baby. Then we came home and I washed the baby clothes and blankets and got everything hung up in what will eventually be his room (currently my teenager's room until we finish remodeling, but he very graciously made space for me to hang up the baby stuff.) Then I packed the hospital bag and have it all ready to go. I also an envelope of cash on my refrigerator so that the older boys can at least order pizza or something if we end up in the hospital between grocery days or something.

My back is absolutely killing me, but if feels so good not to have to worry about getting those things in time! Now we can sit back and enjoy the next few months.
