Failed HSG/Closed cervix

13 months TTC and finally got a new Gyno to do an HSG. I went this morning hoping for an explanation to my infertility and left even more confused. My gyno could not feed the catheter through my cervix no matter what he did. Eventually it got too painful and he stopped trying. So now we're looking at doing laparoscopy. Anyone else had a cervix that refused to open? If my doctor couldn't get it to open I doubt sperm could get in?! My body is so weird.
