Trouble sleeping painful movements

I'm currently 39+5 and waiting for little one to arrive. He is definitely training me for sleep loss at the moment and wondering if anyone has any tips for sleep. His movenets are so strong now that they're painful and reducing me to tears when I'm laying on my sides. I slept propped up last night either slightly to the left or right and it seemed to help a bit. I know optimal is sleeping on your left but it is honestly breathtaking and tear-inducing now when I try laying on my side. Have asked midwife to call so hopefully she has some tips too.
