Experiences with cytotec??

Question

Found out last week that I’m having a second missed miscarriage. Should have been 9 weeks but baby stopped growing at 8:3 and there was no heartbeat anymore. I took cytotec two days this weekend, both days it caused cramps for about 6 hours and light bleeding. The bleeding has stopped and no more cramps. Anyone else have this happen to them? What should I expect?

I took Cytotec before a scheduled d&c. First dose I got some cramping no spotting. My surgery got cancelled for unrelated reasons and had a second dose later in the week - no cramping this time. 
As I understand it, if they’re attempting to induce you passing the miscarriage, they’ll continue to give you doses until it happens. I think for some women/pregnancies it can take 8+ doses and works better if inserted vaginally.

My experience was that they kept giving me the pills until my body finally fully went into the process on its own. It took 4 doses

I had that happen to me! I called my ob and she prescribed another dose. So sorry for your loss❤️ having it prolong, definitely doesn’t help!!
