Confused

Hi Everyone! I was due to get my period on October 5th, and I had some brown spotting on my panties. I figured that was my period, but throughout the day I had no bleeding or still haven't and it's 10/7. I took a pregnancy test on Saturday October 3 and Sunday October 4th and both were negative. The pregnancy tests were clearblue advanced digital and first response, both said they would tell me my results since they were early testing. Not sure what could be the issue at this time. I normally always get my period, and not sure why I haven't gotten it yet. Maybe it could be really late? Has anyone had this happen?
