How do the age filters work on here?

If I filter out the 13-18 age group, am I still able to see their comments on other people's posts? Are they able to see and comment on my posts?
I have not filtered it yet, I'm just curious how it works.

They lie about their age all the time I always see teen posts on the adult filters

You won't be able to see theirs accept when it's anonymous. That's one thing that's annoying to me.

You shouldnt be able to see their posts or comments, except anonymous posts or people who lie about their age on the app. You would see stuff like a post has 3 comments and not actually see any comments or only see 1, stuff like that. It helps a lot if you dont like seeing what they post but it's not perfect

If you use filters, they will be able to see your post.  You just won't be able to see their comments, though their comments will be counted.  Basically when you see that a post has six comments but you can only see four.  It should work on other posts too, not just yours.  
However, if they make a post and set it to anonymous, their post may still show up despite your filters.  They lie about their age here all the time (which you can report them for if they show up through your filters.)  Even if they post anonymously, the admins can still see their identity and can warn them about not having their age set correctly or even possibly suspend them for it.

I just changed mines. 
I believe you can’t see minors post and they can’t see yours.
