Maternal Fetal Medicine?

Twin moms, how often do you go to the Maternal Fetal Doctor? My OB isn’t a high risk doctor and will still be seeing me along w/ a Maternal Fetal Doctor starting next week & I’m just curious as to how often I’ll have to see them.

I’m pregnant with Di/Di Girl Twins & I was seeing them once every 2 weeks at first. Then when I hit 30 weeks I was seeing them weekly. Then at 34 weeks I was seeing them twice a week. I’m now 36w 5 days and scheduled for an induction at 37w.

With my MoDi boys I went every week from 16 weeks due to twin B being smaller.  Then he had cord flow issues so I saw them twice a week from 28 weeks to 31 weeks.  Then I was admitted hospital until I delivered at 33 weeks and 4 days.

I saw them every 2 week. They suggested that I dont go to my OB anymore. Just have all the appointments at once. It was SO much nicer, going to the ob and mfm was pointless, and I liked the mfm a lot better.

I went for my first visit at 13 weeks. I will go back again in 2 weeks (18 weeks) for our anatomy scan. I see my regular OB every 2-3 weeks. I’m pregnant with di/di twins.

I have mo/di twins. I was seeing my dr every 2 weeks. After 30 weeks they will be seeing me every week. I only continued with my MFM dr.

I have mono/di twins, and type 2 diabetes as well as overweight. I started going every 4 weeks starting at 9 weeks (we had to find out what type they were). Now at 24 weeks, I'm going to see them every 2 weeks for growth scans, TTTS screening, and fluid checks. Starting at 32 weeks, I'll apparently be seeing them twice a week. I also still see my ob/gyn with the same schedule.

I am pregnant with mo-di twins and have had a scan and consultant appointment every 2 weeks from 16 weeks onwards. Both appointments are going to be every 2 weeks till I deliver at 36 weeks.

I am pregnant with Mo/Di twins and it’s higher risk, I also have type 1 diabetes so I go every 3-4 weeks. Once I am 20 weeks I will go more often. How often you go will depend on the twins you have and the risks, if any that come with it

I think it depends on the type of twins/your risk level. I'm pregnant with b/g twins and only went to a mfm once for the anatomy scan.
