39 percentile ??

Question

What does that mean? 
My baby girl weights 4.3 pounds she said she is the 39 percentile. I am 32 weeks and 4 days btw. Currently weighing 129 and i am 5’2 
Also, Is she gonna be big or small when i deliver?

Answer

It just means that if you took 100 babies at the same stage of your gestation and lined them up from smallest (1) to biggest (100), your baby would be #39. But you also have to remember that ultrasound measurements are estimations and while they are often accurate, they are also often inaccurate. 
39% is a good number in the respect that your doctor isn’t going to be worried about baby being “too small” or “too big.”

Answer

From the sounds of it she will be an average size baby. Most likely around 7 pounds at birth.  Baby gains about a pound every 2 weeks starting around 33 weeks.
