A Letter To My Doctor
Hey Ladies,
I (32weeks) never post much but today I felt minimal movements during the late evening. This is my first child and I decided to email my doctor since I will be seeing her in 5 hrs.
Here’s my email
Good Morning Dr.________,
I know we will be meeting today. I wanted to inform you that yesterday was an incredibly stressful day at work. I'm a principal assistant (hourly worker) who works in the Kindergarten class and has to complete administrative work for the principal.
Long story short, I started to feel as though I was going to faint on and off while working. Also, I felt as though I could not take in enough air throughout the day. I tried to slow down but my boss is strict on being sure "employees work for the full amount she's paying." I'm scheduled to clock out at 4:30pm and when I did so to leave I was asked "why are you leaving without finishing the work I gave you."
Some days at work I'm there over 13+ hours without pay. When I returned home, I noticed I haven't felt my baby move from 8:00pm-11:00pm (2-3 kicks). Now, it's 3am and she's not moving much at all (1 kick per 30min).
See you soon.
Long story short Ladies I work long hours without pay and it’s expected...this is starting to become stressful. I’m trying to avoid conflict and hopefully my baby is ok.
