It will be a long day.
At 3:00 today, my birthday, I was supposed to hear my baby's heartbeat. A heartbeat we saw 4 weeks ago, but was just too small to be audible. We lost it less than a week later.
It was going to be the best birthday present I had ever received.
Oh how my heart aches for that sound...
