How many wet diapers? Brand change ...

Just an anxious mama.... I just switched to Honest brand and they’re so absorbent I cannot tell if my LO pees since it feels/smells so dry and fresh!
With Huggies and the blue line indicator I would notice a wet diaper immediately counting more than 10+ changes a day.

We definitely aren’t changing that often. I probably have 6-8 diapers a day. I no longer change over night either. Little one is 7.5w old (second child)

We have our little guy in huggies too and I feel like it’s a marketing move cause when you notice it’s changed blue you want to change them immediately because you know they’re wet. Which is also a benefit cause then you don’t have them sitting in a dirty diaper. However we basically just go by change when he’s dirty or after he eats. Our doctor said you should expect to need to change them after each feed, which for us has been fairly reliable.

Honest diapers are crazy absorbent which is awesome! We were using Pampers because we were gifted a bunch and i couldn’t wait to finish the pack because I am not a fan of the net inside (I recently discovered it gives him a wedgie when wearing onesies, but it’s on the inside so it’s hard to notice). Regardless, since Pampers is less absorbent it bunches up sooner and I imagine is uncomfortable, unlike the Honest ones. So less diapers for sure lol and perfect for night time

We change with every feed. I use Hello Bello which also has the line, and seems to match up with each feed so we usually do about 8 changes a day. The Dr said that’s a normal amount.
