Hi everyone,

My baby girl is 5 months old and last month she had a cold, that turned into another cold, which turned into an ear infection.

Mind you the evening after she had her vaccines, she had a fever a few hours later, and the next day was the beginning of this series of viruses and bacterial infections.

Anyway, it’s over a month later and she still is striking over 100 temperatures almost every night. She’s seen the doctor multiple times and I’ve been calling to follow up but since she’s so active and happy, they’re hesitant to run labs, and I was advised to wait until Thursday.

Well tonight I noticed between base of her skull and her neck is a swollen bump. My guess this is a lymph-node.

She seems fine, alert, active, happy, etc.

Has anyone gone through this, if so what was the outcome?

I love her doctors but this just seems like such a long time, and would like to hear input from other moms with infants.
