Medical reords?

I am 30 weeks and trying to switch doctors. The Doctors office I want to switch with says they must have my medical records first in order to make a appointment... why is that??

Because they need to see your history of how everything is been so far. Like from the first scan, anatomy scan, til now. And before that too if you were at that OB for a while. Doctors like to know past stuff to know a little more.

That’s good! They want to see your medical history. See how your pregnancy has been going so far. 
They should have sent you a release of medical records authorization form. Usually your new DR requests it from your old. 
Or you can go to your current DR and ask for a copy of your medical records.
