If there’s no urgent need and you just wanna make sure the baby is okay... that’s pretty selfish taking away time from ppl with actual emergencies.

You need a valid reason to request a test. Did you have a fall? Are you feeling differently all of a sudden? I had real contractions at 28 and 30wks (due to illness) and they didn’t even do one then. They did the Doppler and fetal monitor. And it went away when my fever went down.

No. If there's something you are concerned about, you need to call your OB. If you just want reassurance but are not having any particular symptoms or issues, then you should do some kick counts instead.

Depends. I got kicked in the stomach at 13 weeks by a client of mine (I was a waxer) and immediately got seen, I had slight bleeding at 8 weeks and got seen, then I fell down the stairs and had a phone call with the doctors.
