PCOS At 16??

Question

I think I have PCOS, I’ve never really tracked my cycle until January when I started being sexually active but on average every single cycle i have is 50-60 days long. Im so heartbroken, i know it can be so hard sometimes to have kids with it. I’m not to totally sure what it is but I talked to my mom about it and she’s making me an appointment with my gynecologist.

Some symptoms (not everyone is the same) to look out for are: excessive hair on the body- chin, chest,thighs for example, usually coarse and dark. Acne, inexplicable weight gain, heavy, irregular or missed periods. Obviously blood tests and a scan will give you an answer. It is a syndrome so, with medication and/or weight management, the symptoms can go. Ive had it for years but luckily, I've only missed two periods, however, I have multiple cysts on both ovaries.
