How do you deal with death?

How do you deal with a death of a loved one? What do you think the best handle it is?

I lost my sister last year and I'm still trying to figure that out.  I just take it day by day.

i havent handle it well i lost my friend whowas in her 70s in 2010 along with my first child hood cat ruby jane  a calico  and my  grandmother in 2012 my grandfather2013 and my other child hood cat brandy a  calico  and my mom augof this year which hit me the hardest it hurts everyday i miss her and want to talk to her hug her and tell her how much i love her and i cant!!😭😢 im just so depressed

Hey there. I'm dealing with this- lost a friend in a horrific way. I've been so distraught, and it took a toll on my body. I didn't ovulate and skipped my period. It's frustrating. I want to give myself a proper amount of time to mourn, and I want to be healthy when I concieve...but I also feel like if I got pregnant soon it would bring such joy in such a dark time. Of course, now that my cycle is all screwed up, getting pregnant could take forever! Frustrated and sad :(

I don't. It's like a disconnect. I have lost anyone I was super close to yet. Typically I just feel like they're well and I just haven't seen them. Then I remember they've died. My grandpa died almost 2 years ago and sometimes I forget. Sometimes I pass a Harley store and I want to cry... death is bizarre and hard to process

I always miss my grandpa. He was such a special man. I kept some of his things, I love having a few reminders around me. Is till get weepy if I think about it too much. I know it's a normal part of life and we have a long way to go still. I hope it gets easier as we age.

My mom died suddenly two years ago. I had to see her on her bedroom floor while they tried to resuscitate her n then after pronouncing her dead I helped my dad put a shirt on her because they cut through hers. She was healthy that morning, took me to school, said I'd see you at home when you get out n she hit her head while walking the dog, went into a coma(because she took a nap shortly after) n had a stroke n her heart stopped. I was 16 n my brother was 13. It never gets easier. I miss her every single day. That night i screamed until i coughed up blood. I didnt eat for months. I fell into such a horrible depression that it felt like i was drowning. I did come out of it to where I could live my life, n being pregnant does help me be happy, but shes my mommy, ill never get another mother, no one else on this earth grew me in her body, raised me, helped me how she did. Im bawling while writing this. She was my best friend n i scream to the heavens that it should've been me. We needed her.

I went to my first funeral when I was 5. My great grandma had died. Since then, I've lost 15 other family members, friends and pets.

Death surrounds me. It's actually gotten to commonplace that I hold a ritual every October in honor of whoever I've lost in the past year. So I guess that's my way of dealing with it. But frankly, I think I've just become emotionally detached from it .__.;;
