How do you feel about referring to your baby as an "it" until the sex is discovered?

I personally can't stand it for a number of reasons. I'm just curious if it's my hormones or if others agree.

My mum always gets up me for this 🙈 personally I don’t have a problem with it, although I’m more cautious to not call other people’s unborn baby’s ‘it’. I don’t think it’s an insult or rude

I'm the opposite! Until I found out the gender I constantly called my baby "it"... Although my partner hated it, he finds it rude as well 😅😂😂

My dad told me with my first all of the time it's not an it it's a baby. Now out of habit I'm always saying oh the baby this or the baby that and I feel like it's no different. Now i get to just call him by his name 😍 My little Jasper 🥰 anyway calling a baby it, meh no big deal.

I personally call my little baby a squid lol to me I don’t care. It feels like a squid in there so my little squid it will be. I’ve called the baby “it” many times. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We arent finding out the sex so I feel like if I kept saying he or she id get it in my head it was that sex, so I just say baby or it.
