1st Grade Teacher Problem

I need to vent so bad an maybe someone can help me. Long story short, my son just started the 1st grade... yesterday. And today was day two and he gets two snacks a day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. My husband his dad stays home with him. And so sad packs his snacks. Now I will also mention we are on a very tight budget due to baby number two coming along. Anyways, my husband packed him an applesauce which I guess he slurped down so quick the teacher gave him some goldfish. But my husband also packed my son some captain crunch dry cereal in a bag for the other snack and the teacher would let my son eat it! Therefore my son didn't get to have a second snack!!! Not note to us parents not to pack that because thats not on him he's 6 that's on us but I am having a really hard time wrapping my head around my 6 year not being able to eat a snack.... I'm really emotional over this as I dont want my son being singled out....sorry for the long post just sad... my son is cool with it but I'm all momma bearing it right now.
