I went my to 6 week post partum check yesterday and my doc asked me which form of birth control I plan on using. Honestly I hadn’t even thought of it as my husband and I just always used condoms right up until we were ready to have a baby so I’d just planned on doing that again. But now I’m going in next week for a consultation on the Kyleena IUD. Have any of you ladies had this before? I’m a little hesitant as it has a few side effects that I really don’t want and apparently it’s painful when it gets put in. My husband says he really doesn’t mind using condoms every time which is also fine with me but ugh I just can’t decide. I guess I’ll go for the consult and decide after that. I mean that’s what a consults for, right?
