Not sleeping

Any advice or coping strategies for a baby that has outgrown her silent reflux but now only wants to sleep upright in someone's arms? She's 7 months old and has lately started waking almost every hour at night and then wants to drink for an hour. I'm exhausted and haven't slept longer than 4 hours in one go since I was 7 months pregnant. She and I both hate co sleeping and I wonder if I should bite the bullet and try the Ferber method? Otherwise a happy and contented baby but also naps very poorly.
