Am I a terrible mom?

Everytime I set my son down he SCREAMS. I make sure his diaper is clean, hes fed, and everything, but he still screams. I feel really bad because I hate hearing him cry, but sometimes I gotta use the bathroom, or get dressed. Does that make me a bad mom that I set him down when I know hes gunna cry and I don't pick him back up when he starts?

No of course not! Sometimes babies just cry, but you've got to maintain your sanity. If that means using the bathroom alone for once all the more power to you mama.

No it doesn’t. You have to take care of yourself to take care of him. And my daughter was and is the same way but I just give her some toys and let her cry. She’s slowly not doing it as much and is learning to occupy/comfort/entertain herself by herself. Of course I don’t do it all the time, we have plenty of picked up and held and play times every day.
