Dog hair and drool with baby advice needed!!

We are currently awaiting our baby boy to be born. We have two of the largest, hairiest and slobberiest furbabies already. Normally we take the stance of : love them...love their hair and drool. With a baby coming we were wondering if anyone else has giant

hairy drooly dogs and what tips, tricks or advice you have to offer in regards to trying to keep baby things as hair free and drool free as possible. At least in the beginning. Realistic answers only please. Shaving them or getting rid of them are not an option. They are our babies too. They are professionally groomed once a month and brushed in between already.
