Late birth story ( 7 weeks late)
I just realized I never posted my birth story. Guess better late than never.
I was due June 24th 2019 but he didn't want to come. On June 29th I went in to be induced at 8:30pm. They started me on Cytotec ( pill to help dilate). By 10:30 I was at 2cm and contractions started but was very faint. They done the pill again and nothing happened. Come 11:30 the next morning they decided to try and break my water so they move me to the delivery room and break my water and start pitocin. I started to have some painful contractions so they gave me pain meds to help. By 5 pm I started asking for a epidural. They started to do the epidural but had to stop because the anesthesiologist had a emergency and I told them I'll deal with the pain go ahead and help the person out who needs them. He comes back after a hour and does my epidural. Within the first 20 mins I felt amazing but little mans heart rate dropped and my blood pressure dropped. They kept making me switch sides to get his heart rate back to normal. They check me and I'm still at 3cm so they up the pitocin because my doctor wanted to avoid a c section at all cost. His heart rate dropped again 2 more times and I was still at a 3. They tried the peanut ball thing and all then they put some kind of rod like thing in me to check my contractions because my epidural wore off and I was hurting bad but they wasn't showing on screen like they should. I had back labor bad and my whole left side wore off. I waited for another 3 hours in pain contractions coming back to back then at 11pm they decided a c section was best because my body refused to dilate past 3cm in over 25 hours and his heart rate dropped again. They rushed me to the OR and start cutting me before they let my SO in the room( emergency c section) . After 25 hours in labor At 11:26pm on June 30th cenica jr Was born. He weighed 7 lbs 10oz and 18 1/2 inches long.
They didn't let me hold him until I was in recovery.

First time I held him in recovery.

Him now at 7 weeks old
