The Unknown
Emory Visit well was a lot of information today and not what we hoped for. The doctor there gave us more insight into Paisley’s condition and he said it’s TD which is unfortunately the lethal type. It has a lot to do with her chest size but we are thankful she does have 78% lung capacity. The other big factor which is new news to us is her spinal cord and brain. The spinal cord and brain are basically already fuzed together when there is supposed to be open space there for the signals from the brain to the organs to function and her body to grow. Hence why she hasn’t grown any in the arms or legs or chest since 20 weeks. Also that’s the reason why my fluid is so high because she isn’t swallowing as much or as frequently as she needs to normally because the signals arnt processing like they should. There are severe bowing in the legs so she will be able to move them and function but probably won’t be able to walk. Also her learning will he slowed down a lot due to the signals and spinal cord/ brain issue. Our biggest decision now is when to deliver because the specialist is more concerned now with my health and my fluid levels because it could make me really sick or could be lethal because the fluid and my blood could mix if my water breaks and doesn’t do right. So please pray for us as we decide when to deliver because right now it’s looking like within the next week or so because unfortunately Paisley is to the point where there’s no more preparing or growing because of her condition and we’ve taken every necessary step to help her chances. We know this is in Gods hands so we pray he does a mighty miracle and gives us clear insight as parents on what to do. Thank you all for the love and support and prayers we will keep you posted next on delivery date.
