I’m still young, just about to turn 20, but i would love to adopt in the future (probably within 5-7 years).

My boyfriend (of almost two years) and I have discussed it, and both of us think adoption is the best option for us. I would like to adopt internationally - I’ve read online South Korea is a good place to adopt from.

My question is how difficult is it to adopt? How long does it take? And which countries are good to adopt from?

Also, sorry if I sound misinformed or uneducated on this subject, but honestly I haven’t looked into it much. Most of my information comes from my dad, who was adopted (and he’s nearly 50).

Of course I will do more research on my own when it gets closer to the right time, but I just want some basic information, and some personal experiences (whether you adopted locally or not!)
