I like the name Allie, but I have a niece named Alexandria. Sometimes they call her Lex, Lexi, or Alex. I don't think it sounds similar but my husband thinks it does.

lol allie is my name!! I personally don’t think they sound the same. & plus when they get older & are together you can say “allie and Alex” and it sounds fine :)
