Whew man, I gotta remember that I love my husband

Our son is nine weeks old and my husband has only gotten him to sleep one time. Once. For a half an hour. I’ll rock and bounce and hum and sing and pat and sway for as long as it takes no matter how fussy he’s being to be able to get him to sleep, but my husband will give up after five minutes and act like there’s something wrong and he “can’t do it”. He’s great with helping with diaper changes and he’ll entertain him for a bit between feedings sometimes if our son is cluster feeding and I have to do something, but he would just let him stay awake forever and never put him down for a nap if I weren’t there to do it. I tried stepping back and letting him take care of our son one morning and he had him up for so long it threw him off for the whole day, which turned into a shitshow and three days of him being super fussy and fighting naps. I think he’s scared to do it or something, idk. I start back to school next week and will have 12 hour clinical days. He HAS to be able to get him down for a nap. Does anyone else have issues with their baby’s father not being able to get baby down for a nap, or any tips or magic spells or something ANYTHING that might help??
