August for a boy name?

I looove the name August for a boy, and the nickname being Gus. However, my mother, boyfriend & his family all don’t like it!! Am I crazy for liking it or is it too much??

it was one of our choices if we were having a boy. but if dad doesn’t like it then you have to keep thinking. i would only never include the father in choosing the name if he didn’t want to be in the child’s life.
