I got my copper IUD after my first baby (I was using Nuva ring and loving it) but I couldn’t go back on with breastfeeding.

It was painful on insertion and it has been over a year and I still have discomfort with it. My husband says the it “bites” and sometimes it feels like it bites me too during sex.

It’s limited comfortable positions. And I am still massively irregular. I started my period again 11 months after baby.

I check the strings and all is good there. Anyone else have these challenges with their IUD.
